After high school I attended SDSM&T for 18 months and met my husband. We married and moved to Colorado where I completed my BS Nursing at the University of Colorado. From there we spent a few years in Washington state where my two children were born. Then back to Rapid City for a few years where I got my MBA from University of South Dakota. Back to Colorado again for about 20 years during which I got a divorce and pursued hospital administration. Promotion led me to Kansas City where I was the VP of Operations and Chief Nursing Informatics Officer over 12 hospitals in 4 states until I retired in September 2019. Moved back to Denver where my children Katie and Michael and my two grand boys reside. Started my own healthcare operations consulting business and have loved getting to choose the work I do while totally enjoying the hiking and lifestyle in Colorado again. Being with my grandsons is a complete joy! Have a summer place on Sheridan lake in the Black Hills that gets me back to RC often. Love retirement and the freedom it brings. Focused on health and doing the things I love!
